The Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

As we all know Prince Harry got married to his love Meghan Markle, on May 19, 2018 at 7:00 EDT. They got married at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, United Kingdom. It was a beautiful wedding that showed both the British culture of Prince Harry and the American/Canadian culture of Meghan Markle. Everything you need to know about the wedding is in this blog, but first I am going to give some details on how Meghan and Harry first met.

Meghan and Harry were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend of theirs. The name of the friend isn’t too sure but some believe it was Violet von Westenholz or fashion designer Mischa Nonoo. Meghan really didn’t know what kind of a person Harry was, so she was iffy about going on a blind date with him. She wanted to make sure he was nice before going on a date with him. As soon as they saw each other, they hit it off immediately. They went on a second date from there, but kept it a secret for four months. Harry stated that he knew she was the one as soon as he laid eyes on her. (Awwww) Finally, on October 31, 2016, they came out as a couple. In November 2016, Meghan met with Harry’s family and they absolutely adored her. Then, on November 27, 2017, Prince Harry engaged his now girlfriend for more than a year, Meghan Markle.

Wedding Day

On May 19, 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, United Kingdom. Meghan made a historical walk down the aisle with Prince Charles. She wore a beautiful boat neck Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy gown topped off with the Queen Mary’s Tiara, given to Meghan personally by Queen Elizabeth II, with a 16-foot-veil. She looked absolutely stunning. Queen Elizabeth named Harry and Meghan, Dutch and Duchess of Sussex.
